Rielle Hunter pictures have been splashed across our consciousness ever since her affair with presidential candidate John Edwards was exposed. Not only did Personal Money Store cover the John Edwards/Rielle Hunter shenanigans then, but Ms. Hunter is still apparently on tour – as this recent GQ article proves.
First impressions are very important, in that they can make or break the relationships we form with others. If that was our first impression of videographer and new mother Rielle Hunter, then things didn’t go so well, although John Edwards has just as much pie on his face (if not more for allegedly paying Rielle Hunter off). But for those of us who hadn’t formed an impression the first time, we have the GQ article “Hello, America. My name is Rielle Hunter.” That chance at a “first impression” has also been blown, as Hunter is complaining that the photographer somehow tricked her into posing in risqué fashion with Barney and Kermit. I think all she could see was the quick cash.
Rielle Hunter, is titillating stuffed animals part of your recovery plan?
Honestly, there’s nothing wrong with putting on the sexy. However, Rielle Hunter shouldn’t complain about the bed if she made it and she’s sleeping in it for monetary gain. The GQ photos aren’t “trashy,” by any means, but they are not going to change the public’s opinion of her. For better or worse, women involved in scandalous affairs with high-ranking male politicians tend to get the short end of the stick when it comes to the public perception. Posing in pearls, a man’s dress shirt and nothing else might be fun, but it won’t change minds. Rielle Hunter pictures indicate more of the same.
She was in tears over the photo? She must have been on ‘The View’
That’s the story USA Today is going with. Frankly, Whoopi Goldberg and the rest of “The View” cast makes my eyes and ears sting so bad that I want to “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” over to another channel – or at least take out pay day loans for eye and ear surgery. But I digress. We all know the target demographic of “The View,” and Rielle Hunter and her people likely calculated her response to the GQ photo shoot and where she would make her heartfelt cry for justice.
Posing without pants? It’s in there
Do you think that priority one for any publication is to repair your image, Rielle Hunter? No. They’re looking to move product, whether it’s GQ or any other business.
But again, what kind of image are you attempting to convey here? Get a new publicist and sort out your story if you want to be thought of as something other than a political scandal hussy. Clearly you had other things going on before John Edwards; there’s no reason you can’t make your own way and be defined by your character and your work. However, if your plan is to be photographed by a national publication with only a dress shirt and pearls, then giggity – your life will be all about a sexual quagmire.
