A FAMU sex tape video is turning into a lot of negative publicity for FAMU.

But does the FAMU sex tape video actually exist, or is this something being set up to put negative light on the Florida Agricultural and

Mechanical University? The video does seem to exist, and yes it is indeed a sex tape, that has been released by a web site called Dare Dorm. This web site posts films of University students having sex, and then charges people a fee to sign up

for a membership. While we haven't looked at the video ourselves, and have no plans to do so in the future, many FAMU students are taking to Twitter to state that the University shown in a new video is not FAMU at all.

The biggest thing that FAMU students are up in arms about, is that the dorms being featured in the sex tape are nothing like the ones at FAMU. It's starting to sound a lot like the web site that posted the video did so without fact checking, or could have possibly just listed a University of their choice in order to get people to come check out the video. It is probably then a bad idea for anyone to go view this video, because it doesn't guarantee the safety of the computer user watching the video. So why would a web site like this choose to associate a video with FAMU? Maybe because they thought nobody at FAMU would care, or that people wouldn't do their research.
It is a strange world that we live in now, where people are reportedly creating tapes like this in order to make money on the internet. Hopefully FAMU takes some action against that web site for claiming that the tape was actually filmed on the FAMU campus, because if it wasn't, this is a whole lot of negative publicity that FAMU will be wrongly receiving. If you are interested in reading opinions from students that are flooding Twitter right now about the "fake tape", we have linked to the Twitter search of FAMU, where many conversations are taking place right now.
