Good Girls Go Bad Full Video

American Pop band Cobra Starship recorded the song “Good Girls Go Bad” and the guest vocalist was Leighton Meester. “Good Girls Go Bad” was the first single from their studio album “Hot Mess” and was released on May 11, 2009. “Good Girls Go Bad” made its radio debut on May 8, 2009 on KIIS-FM. American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi and Kevin Rudolf produced the song. It proved a great success and after release the song was on number seven on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100.
“Good Girls Go Bad” was used in Greek’s “Friend or Foe and also in several scenes of Gossip Girl’s episode “The Freshmen”.

In 2009 the band was offered to work with Kara DioGuardi. The Cobra Starship vocalist Gabe Saporta explained it in such words:

“We got offered to work with Kara right, as she was becoming an American Idol judge. We didn’t know who she was. She didn’t know who we were. We got hooked up with her. I’m like, ‘Who is this person?’ She’s like, ‘Who’s this annoying band?’ But we got in the room, and it was like magic, and we wrote the song in 15 minutes. It’s, like, the best song on our album.”

“Good Girls Go Bad” is a dance pop song and also praised by examiner.com reviewer, Liza Woods. Woods described it as “pure unadulterated fun”. On 30th June it was called as “Sexy Song of the Day”. Bill Lamb of About.com rated it with four and a half stars and said: “This is one of the most deliberately polished pop singles of the year.” On May 3, 2009 a music video for the song was shot. Kai Regan directed music video and the video was nominated at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards in the category Best Pop Video.
